How soon will I receive payment?

You can sell your car and receive payment on the same day!

What documents do I need to provide?

You will need to provide the title, driver's license, vehicle registration, original title, bank information of the lien holder, and a 10-day payoff statement.

Will there be any hidden fees?

We pride ourselves on transparency, and there are no hidden fees or dealer fees whatsoever. Our fee for the service is a flat rate of $350. There are no additional fees or charges involved.

Can I sell my car if I have a loan on it?

If your car is currently financed, rest assured that we can assist you in selling it. The buying dealership will take care of all necessary paperwork, including the DMV title transfer and loan payoff. Once the sale is finalized, you will receive the equity you have remaining in your lease, if any. 

CAN YOU PICK UP MY CAR?

What happens if my car is leased?

If you have a leased car, don't worry, we can still assist you in selling it. Our extensive network of flagship dealerships is interested in buying your car. Our in-house team will work directly with your bank to pay off the remaining lease payments. We will also handle all necessary paperwork, including the DMV title transfer. Once the lease is paid off, we will send you the equity you have in your lease prior to picking up the car.

What is the process for transferring the title and completing the sale with the DMV?

When selling your vehicle through Sold Auto , the buying dealership will handle the entire process of transferring the title and completing the sale with the DMV. They will take care of all the necessary paperwork, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free transfer of ownership. You can have peace of mind knowing that our team will closely monitor the dealership's progress to ensure a seamless experience for you.

Should I wash or detail my car before the marketing session?

Yes, we recommend washing or detailing your car before the marketing session to ensure that it looks its best for potential buyers. A clean and well-maintained car can increase its value and appeal to dealers. Additionally, taking care of your car's appearance demonstrates that you have taken good care of the vehicle and that it is in good condition. However, if you are unable to wash or detail your car before the session, don't worry. Our team is skilled at capturing your car's best features and will work with you to market your car effectively regardless of its current condition.
